Repurposing a black and white portable label printer as an always-ready, on-the-go sticker maker. Compact, battery-powered, and pocketable. Designed to produce custom labels and stickers anywhere without needing a computer, app subscription, or Wi-Fi.

The appeal is simple: most sticker-making setups require a laptop, a cutting machine, or a dedicated app. This strips all of that away. Print what you need, where you need it, instantly.

Hardware

Currently evaluating portable thermal label printers in the Brother VC-500W and Zebra QLn420 range. Key criteria are print quality at small sizes, battery life, label stock compatibility, and whether the workflow can be simplified to a single button press from a phone.

Materials

Exploring different label stock materials (standard thermal, vinyl-coated, and weatherproof options) for durability and adhesion on different surfaces. The goal is stickers that actually last outdoors, not paper that peels after a week.

Workflow

Working on a streamlined design-to-print workflow that can go from idea to printed sticker in under a minute using only a phone. Templates for common sizes are being built out so repeat prints are one tap away.
