DIY Bypass Band
Inspired by the Bypass Band from Dark Arts Lockpicking. The idea is simple: a shove knife that doubles as a wrist accessory. Wear it like a cuff bracelet, pop it open when you need it, bend it back when you're done.
Material
Starting with 301 stainless steel in spring temper, 0.025" thick from McMaster-Carr. Spring temper holds its shape, handles repeated flexing without fatiguing, and has just enough give to hand-form into a cuff without needing any special tools. The 6"x12" sheet gives plenty of material to experiment on before cutting the final piece.
Progress
Still working through the shaping process. The end goal is something that looks like a plain metal cuff on the wrist and unfurls into a flat bypass blade. More updates as the build progresses.
